Dr. Said Assaf held a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction, in math education and the use of computers in mathematics learning. He taught math at school level, Instructor at the Women Teacher College, and as an assistant professor of math, and education at several local universities. After that he assumed the position of DG for the supervision and training, and then the deputy Minister assistant for development in the ministry of education and higher education. Internationally Dr. Said was a Director at the Education Development Center in Washington, and the Director General for several AMIDEAST educational programs, with focus on teacher and leadership training programs. Dr. Assaf Co-authored math and programming textbooks. And most recently he became a member of the Palestinian National Committee for Educational Reform
